Riding up Little Cottonwood canyon.

This is the toughest stage of "America's Toughest Stage Race." It began at the Olympic Ice Arena in Park City.  They rode past Kamas, through Midway, past Sundance, along the Alpine loop, through Highland and Suncrest and then up Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird.  It was under 100 miles, but mostly uphill.  Scott said it was the hardest thing he has ever done.  He is gearing up for the LOTOJA in September.  That race is 206 miles.

Summer fun in the Northwest

We had a blast in Seattle and in Portland.  Watching the Blue Angels over Lake 

Washington was amazing.  Spending time at Pike's Place Market, eating Indonesian BBQ with good friends, seeing beautiful flowers at Buchart Gardens in Victoria BC Canada and hanging out at  Cannon Beach in Oregon was a great way to spend a couple weeks of our summer.

Billy's sister Carly was recently married in the Draper,

Utah temple.  Easton and Ryder had a blast wearing 

their little tuxes. They got a lot of attention!  What a 

cute, dear family.  We LOVE you so much!

Lake Powell 09

Lake Powell is heaven on earth and

one of our favorite Galbraith family

traditions.  We are never disappointed

when we head down for a fun filled week

on the pristine water.  This year, nobody

got hurt, the food was amazing and we

all had a blast.  We missed having Dani

and Jeff there.  But they are having their

own great experiences in China.  Till next

year.......................... We LOVE Powell!

We had such a wonderful weekend.  We watched Ryder 

hustle as he played T-ball.  Then we took our Moms out

for dinner.  Later we played with Easton and Ryder in Draper.

Later that night, Scott and I went to the Eagles concert.

Talk about a walk down memory lane!  They have so many

great tunes.  Sunday we made a Chinese feast for Dani

and Jeff's upcoming adventure to Shanghai China.  The

weather was perfect.   We loved being together.  The food

was so good, and having my Mom with me on Mother's 

Day was priceless.  I love watching my own daughter being

such a great Mom to my little grandsons.  What an 

awesome, perfect day.   

 

EASTER SUNDAY IN ST. GEORGE

We have the tradition every year

to head down south for some warm

sunny weather and to celebrate

Easter with my Mom & brothers.

This year was different.  My Mom

was on a cruise with her adorable

husband in Hawaii, only one of my

brothers showed up, and it rained

and the wind blew almost the entire

trip.  We spent Fri. am in the ER

with Dani.  (She's fine, it's a mystery)

We did get a little biking in, In and

Out Burgers, a movie, more food,

and Easter Sunday ended up being

sunny & beautiful.
